Qiongxuan Lu has a really great background. Having done his PhD in China on a water-living organism, he moved to the ERC-funded Changchun Chen lab where he switched to C. elegans. In Changchun lab he discovered a novel feeding phenotype and was able to employ high-throughput genetics to decipher molecular pathways regulating behavioral responses to hypoxia. We are really looking forward to welcoming him to our lab. He will play a major role in our search for how the brain and mind integrate to control what we eat.
